This is the one you want, just 1 breather pipe near where the TB is bolted...
Hi and welcome, 182 manifold does not fit onto a 172 engine (can be done iirc but it needs fettling with) you will beed a 172 inlet , the 182 inlet also has a breather pipe attached to it so that will be causing the high idle, that needs bunging up if you were to use the inlet
I don't know the ins and outs of how Kwik fit organise labour on cars so can't answer your question, all i was trying to point out was that they don't have the best reputation and i would be a little concerned about letting them do work on my car, i hope the OP gets all sorted thats the main thing
Think the problem has been solved, just unplugged each injector one by one, each one made a difference in engine sound except for injector number 1 which when unplugged made no difference at all

No it wont make any difference, the ecu will not properly learn the correct fuel/air mixture with having a decat fitted, a tweaked map is what is need by a tuner to take into account the decat
Dont cut cost if your doing ITB's, doing it the right way and properly the first time you wont end up with any problems, take a look at the ITB packages TDF offer, your not gonna go wrong with them
