Im not the person to give you advice on ITB theres loads of specialist on here who know alot about them, but i know that bike throttle bodies need extensive machining to make them fit the f4r lump
Have a search on here but im sure you wont find anything about porting a TB, theres no way of porting it. If i were you id take your car to another RR and compare results as that graph you have the figures dont add up, 167lbs worth of torque, that is ITB territory
Porting the throttle body? even with correctly ported inlets from a specialist you will only see a few bhp gain, will be interesting to see your RR graph
If you want a custom map go to someone who knows these cars inside out, leeds is only an hour away so rstuning is the way to go, if you don't want a custom map then rstuner would be the best
Timing belt and cambelt are the same thing, if your dephaser needs doing it makes sense to get the cambelt done aswell, when having a new cambelt done the dephaser is generally put on free of charge you just need to pay for it of course
There helpful when you give them a ring you should have no problem, i had a bluefin on my previous car and you could noticeably tell the difference especially in the midrange
I've had the exact same issue a few months ago, it's never done it since so I put it down to been a typical french car, however after researching it on here the problem either points to the TB or the battery
Bumper and radiator first, but yeah it does protect the fuel rail your correct, i was just saying that its not always needed as lots of people leave it off
They need to be tight or they will come undome due to the vibration from the engine, if your worried just leave the fuel rail guard off its not needed anyway
Just plugged my car back into the rstuner, only 1 code now stored which is Electronic throttle control limits acquired (not at fault)
Could this be a dodgy TB?
Alternator one doesnt sounds good at all :( i cleared all the codes the other night and all is fine again no lights present, could codes still be stored even if no lights are on?
Had my car plugged into an rstuner and it came up with the following, i dont what know was stored on the ecu before hand but it came up with 4 stored faults and 1 present fault, the car now seems to be a little heavier on fuel and the trip computer is all over the place with readings
1) MAP...
Im getting it plugged into an rstuner tonight hopefully, i havent changed anything since it last came on it just went away for 2 weeks and now its back, the electrical light is not on no more so it revs fine but the emission light has stayed on, i also cleaned the TB today and its not really...
