ECU Reset after Decat?

I have just fitted a scorpion decat on my 182.
No issues so far (no lights coming on) etc.
Car feels more responsive low down and definatly revs out more freely.

Just wanted to know would it be benefical to reset the ECU after fitting the decat?

No it wont make any difference, the ecu will not properly learn the correct fuel/air mixture with having a decat fitted, a tweaked map is what is need by a tuner to take into account the decat

That was my thinking whether it would pick up the difference.

The standard ECU is a very capable unit - it will make small adjustments, in fact it made enough adjustments that when i converted to my itb setup, the ecu adjusted enough to safely run the car.

A remap will improve it, but I would carry out all the modifications you want to do first, as the ecu will adjust enough for now
