The standard brake system across the Clio range work very well imo , obviously if working as it should be no sticky calipers etc. When was the brake fluid last changed?
Get some decent discs and pads on there from Brembo or similar and bleed the fluid through and you'll notice a big difference
Brake pads wise= if you like the DS2500. The DS3000 are next up in the range of the Ferodo Racing pads
Sliding about in seat= search CG Lock, cheap and quite effective ime
