    well, not straight up on its own really. But oil vapour circulated though the intake system can drop the octane rating of the mixture.

    if you want to buy a baffled one, i've not found one in the UK so i do use moroso. Or you could get a fabricator to knock one up.

    personally i prefer to run a baffled catch can with return to sump and continue to use the vacuum line attached to the elbow or induction system.

    i would expect the dealer could isolate the fault if it happened whilst they had the clip attached to it.

    i was going to suggest ECU issue as its doing it whilst cutting out and moving, thus the anti-stall algorhitym might not be working due to some qwerk. Or possibly the TPS, TB, MAP (high manifold vacuum when coasting or slowing). Its too hard a problem to diagnose via the internet, almost...

    Explain a bit more. When and under what circumstances? On or off throttle? high/low rpm. Clutch in or out? cold/hot? etc etc
