I’ve gone with CALM. Lost a mate 13 months ago to suicide and since then I’ve been staggered at the stories I’ve heard from others and how common it is.
All extremely worthwhile charities though.
Your charming smile and rock-tight buttocks?
It is a lot quieter, but having spent the last few days off work and looking at all things forum/Facebook/cars, this is hands down the BEST car forum out there. Without question.
The tanks are carbon Kevlar so absorb fuel eventually. The tanks need to be replaced (at a cost of £25,000!) every 10 years.
The company I work for do a lot of them. The last time I was in the workshop there were 6 in there waiting to be done!
As already said by some, I’m not a supercar fan...
Mine used to do this. I used a big syringe and sucked a bit out (so that it was bang on between min and max) and it’s just done another track daybwoth no issues. ?
Another track day done in the van. This time Donnington!
Ran all day between 4 people. It was out more than any other car there and it didn’t miss a beat. ???
You’ve adjusted the bearing for the shifter though haven’t you?
I’ve been round track in that car with Cub driving like his balls were on fire and neverd a crunch.
If I was you (I’d be rich, clearly) I’d spend a couple of hours playing with the linkages to see if you can get it right.
It is as easy as you mention.
Alternatively, take it to a custom Exhaust place and get them to weld one in place. My local place (infinity exhausts) charged me £100 for this on my last car.
Mate in work has a Mk3 FRS. Done less than 10,000 trouble free (hard!) miles and he had to have the head gasket replaced under recall/warranty. Didn’t want it doing but didn’t want the recall outstanding either...
Had nothing but problem after problem since.
Shower of s**t really for a near...
There’s loads on here already. Storm grey 182. AST and PMS for most stuff, caged, ITB’s, etc etc every nut and bolt on it has been apart and put back together again.
You won’t be able to buy and build a collector-spec clio for £18,200 let alone make profit out of one.
My mate has pretty much the perfect spec clio, built it himself over 3 years so owes him peanuts. We’ve worked out it would cost at the very least, £20,000 to build, maybe even £25,000 as he...
My Mk1 has been in this u it for the last 3-4 years. Prior to that it spent 3-4 years in my mates garage.
This winter.... this winter it’s getting done. (Unless I get this new job, then it will get left in this u it... ?)
Or just buy some of this and brush it over the rust. It goes purple/black and stops it rusting further.

You’ll get some cheap pattern wings for about £60 a pair. Buy them, paint the back of them with under seal so that they last, and fit them as they are.
Problem completely solved, cheap, and will last.
We’d to see some pics to advise properly mate. It could be tar, fallout, or could be masking lines from a previous (poor!) paint job. Just grab a quick phone pic and post it up and someone will be able to help. ?
