Know what you mean, although it should be better than normal with all the suspension/Haldex changes i will have made!!
Why fank you :o
Another little modification yesterday afternoon, the 'boot pop' mod, using the following parts - 2 x 6Y0 827 550 C (Skoda Fabia gas springs), 2 x 1K8 827 761...
Is your ARB rattling about over bumps like mine? Or is everything just feeling a little loose?
Ive done the top mounts & ball joints so far, then all the wishbone & ARB bushes are being done in a couple of weeks time. Might do the track rods/ends whilst the front subframe is off too.
Why would need coilovers when you have Sachs remote reservoir dampers as standard? The best road setup for a clio imho, especially when combined with Sportlines :)
Took the R32 back home to Cornwall last weekend for Christmas, & as per usual it took everything in its stride. The 550 mile motorway roundtrip, the soaking wet back roads, small floods and ridiculously rather muddy/rough driveway (although being lowered does not help lol, scrapey scrapey)...
Not massively fast, but very tempted to plonk a cammed gti engine into my brothers shed of a 5dr 106 1.1 on steelies. Would be quite an amusing track car at least.
With more money, bi-turboing my silver golf would be fun.
Or, there are a lot of cynical old f4rts on this forum who are considerably more experienced in tuning 1*2's than the newbies ... ;)
Mind you, it is quite difficult working out which ones to listen to these days lol.
No, but you do get a sustainable business. Repeat business & a great reputation is nothing without money in the bank.
Ask GDI, AngelWorks, JMS or YozzaSport lol.
Is there really much point doing all that to add 3.5bhp though?
Genuine question btw, surely from your perspective if would be more profitable to just upload a generic map lol.
More than likely, dont think Renault changed the gearbox properly tbh. That vibration though the pedals was horrific lol.
Well yeah, although all these ///M threads at the moment dont help with me going cold turkey from buying cars all the time :o
Right, so here's what ive found:
'03 reg, Estoril, individual interior, all the 'right' good mods, 45k miles, £10,750: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=66611
'04 reg, Silver, black leather, all the options, 70k miles, £9,950: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=52910...
Would she need to fit my 52k clocks to yours so she could have that lovely warm feeling when she looks at the dash, or has it already got less than 60k miles on it?
I sold one with 60k on it, to buy one with 170k on it. The latter was quicker, more powerful & generally in better condition.
It also cost a third of the price.
Massively expensive!!!! Id say £2k over.
You'll take a right bath on that if you want rid in 6 months time Poobah, id be wanting an '05 for that sort of cash tbh.
£8k max for an '03 imho, especially as ull only have 9 months left on the 10year subframe 'warranty' from BMW.
You buy a 1.2, you take sh1t.
You join Cliosport, you take more sh1t.
Your post count gets a little higher, you take less sh1t.
Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere of Trophy ownership and you've forgotten what sh1t even looks like.
Welcome to the layer cake.
