1st one sounds rather expensive, were did you go to fix it? Renault?
Rear shocks you should have noticed before you bought it, its fairly obvious when they are fubar'd.
Diff? Gearbox rebuild is circa £350 from Agency Transmissions.
Sounds like you've been rather unlucky, or perhaps bought a...
Sowwy. I tended to forget that whilst my car was an estate, it had a big petrol engine so was perfectly capable of daft lane changing manouveres. A T5 running on 4 cylinders & a Hyundai Santa Fe SRi CDTI GSI7 werent so great :slap:
Be reet. Getting lost is half the fun.
Were getting the ferry...
If you dont have fog lights/arch liners you dont need any of that b0ll0cks, the air just goes to the brakes, keeps them cooler. Simples.
I did experience fade with my DS2500's on track, but not my RC5+ or RC6's. They were insane, just ate my wheels lol.
A set of Sportlines improve the ride no end Gally, standards/MF ones are too hard imho.
Re: BG, they are the sole UK importer for Sachs products and up intil Cornering Force started doing the refurbs, all the other suspension specialists suddenly had their Sachs supply lines cut when they...
They cost f*ck all to run, & even when they do eventually break, the parts cost so little you'll earn enough money to fix it whilst taking a sh1t at work.
Cornering Force now refurb the Sachs for circa £250 a pair btw, none of this £400-£700 rubbish that BG were charging.
Its libel. Tom left JMS partly as he couldnt be bothered dealing with morons like yeecup and/or the bullsh1t that comes from this forum.
Selling RS2's doesnt make you enough money to have to deal with such f*ckwits on a daily basis. Hence James no longer sells them either.
Oh, and the part...
Just checked a few of my graphs as well, feel like ive learnt something tonight!!! Circa 5252rpm crossover for both:
M3's have such a beautiful curve ...
And the ShedTrophy (now Kelvs):
Found this: http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Miscellaneous/TorqueHPSpeed.htm
And this:
According to that, if you have the rpm the lb ft was calculated at, you should be able to work out the bhp.
For reference, a clio wouldnt know which way a TT225 went down a backroad, but the clio driver would be having more fun.
Nice car btw, bet it looks lovely now its clean!!
Glad to hear it!! Cant imagine you steamrollering an idea through though Chip ;) all this stuff makes me wish id kept the Trophy lol, R32 tinkering is ruddy expensive ...
As much as the seller likes really, James doesnt make them anymore, so the only option is 2nd hand.
Great to see the RS2 pushing good power, just a shame the original designer isnt on here anymore to see the results.
