I wanted to smooth my rear bumper, So moved the plate anyway.
Fact is, I cant think of a better place the number plate looks...

A general rule off the thumb is push the centre of the cone in (you MUST push in straight! IF there is resistance, and a scraping sound you have blown the voicecoils. Make sure you push it in straight, if you push in at an angle, you will get this...
You arent going to get alot of "bounce" with 350wrms. Older type Rs are rated to about 300wrms I believe, 05 spec are 500wrms. 350wrms should be fine for an older Type R :)
Id get an old Type R or S in Dual 4 ohm voicecoil configuration. AS said, you havent got enough power for a newer one...

TVRs have a button solenoid system afaik. This is controlled by the battery. There is no catch or anything, it is purely electrical, not mechanical as fair as im aware, which in the event of an accident (I'm sure power gets cut off??) are useless.
