Yeh it was an, erm ... interesting area put it that way. Never have I seen so many possible drug dealers driving bad manzzz whipzz in one place.

I've heard the Wheel Specialist are good but expensive. Get what you pay for though I guess. There's supposed to be a decent place in Cas called LSN Coatings. Not sure what they charge though.

CAS Coatings in Bradford are supposed to be pretty cheap and cheerful. They get mixed reviews though.

Hmm, that's quite strange. I just assumed they do them for most cars.

I had 8mm H&R Trak+ spacers on my old A3 and they were hubcentric. Surely they do some for a Clio?

Still not washed mine yet mate. Haven't washed it since that meet at Huntsman. Lovely colour when clean though Steve haha. Got loads to do on mine as well but it's too cold. Got new wishbones and ball joints to go on, need to replace my top mounts, replace the collars on the coilovers as...

I doubt you'll get spacers as small as 5mm in hubcentric, should be able to get some hubcentric 10mm though, so if you decide to go with 10mm I'd definitely recommend looking for some hubcentric ones, it just reduces the risk of wheel wobble etc. 4x100 will be what you need.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

The Envy brushes always seemed to be highly regarded and I've had mine for years and they're still soldiering on. Not sure if there's any better ones about now for similar price.

Funny you should mention ITB's. There's a blue VTS, that I saw going past me for the first time last week, near where I work that must be running ITB's as it sounded crazy.

Fronts look pretty much spot on but agree the rears look a bit too wide.

Get them sealed before putting them on if you can, will make them 100 times easier to clean in the future.

    Cat /Manifold DIY fitting kit

I'm sure we've had this convo in another thread not long back. I need to get my cat sleeved properly as it's drooping badly and causing it to blow. Decat was £25 so thought I'd hear how it sounded for that price and at least I can drive it whilst the cat is getting done.

    Cat /Manifold DIY fitting kit

Was going to say you should be able to see the gasket between the cat and manifold. I recently replaced mine with the genuine renault kit, not a difficult job just a bit fiddley. Get some glasses of goggles or something though if you do it on your drive, I got much rust in my eyes when I did...

172 cup inner steering arm size

I had this problem when getting new rods for mine. I've got a non cup though. I got some from ECP and they were well too short. If you can, I'd get one of the tie rods off and go down to ECP if you can so you make sure you get the right ones. With regards to the tool, I borrowed a fan...
