Mine's a bit different to yours, however the outer sleeve came away from the inner bit of mine which meant that the full thing didn't lift up so I couldn't get reverse.
I just slapped aload of Gorilla Glue on it and it's been fine ever since.
Just applying a bit of logic here but the £24.90 will be for 2 I assume so a full set would be £49.80.
Quote OP's name for a full set for £40 so save £9.80.
Although most coilovers I've seen fitted to a Clio have separate spring and damper on the rear rather than a coilover like the fronts.
Mine doesn't look half as bad on this picture as what it does in the flesh. Need to wipe the numberplate as it's unreadable.
Some mucky buggers in here though.
Should be on back of one of the spokes. However I've just seen this which looks as though it's on the outer rim on the rear of the wheel.
Also someone has said on another thread that it is printed in the centre hub of the wheel if they're Speedlines rather than Renaults Speedlines.
What's the actual offset after spacers on all these wheels?
If you've got aftermarket wheels with a slightly lower offset than standard wheels then they'll obviously both look different even if you use the same size spacers.
Haha, should have popped into Town Hall for a chin wag. I'm just watching the clock waiting for 4pm when I can go home, get changed, get into Leeds and get on the beer.
@Steve_RS2250 How are your tyres in the wet cold weather? IIRC you've got the same as me and mine as s**t when pushing on, end up sliding around like anything!
Get under car and have someone turn steering from lock to lock, if you see movement in the rack bushes they're past it. I thought mine were on the way out buy when I got under the car there was no movement in them whatsoever.
Rods and ends is an easy enough job.
Yeh I've got just over -2 degrees of camber on the front and it's terrible for tramlining.
I replaced both the track rods and ends on mine recently as they were knackered. If they havent been done, for the cost id definitely replace them as they can wear with time. If you replace track rods...
It'll be tramlining on the road which would point to alignment, track rods, track rod ends etc.
What size tyres have you got as well as 205's are supposedly worse for it than 195's.
I'd much rather do it myself and save the money as I'm tight. Although when I've had parts sat around for months without being fitted I do have to question whether I'd just be better paying for it doing!
Nothing major or difficult, just got a lot of niggley bits to sort out but it's too cold to be messing about under a car at the minute.
Need to fit new top mounts, fit new wishbones and ball joints, replace the collars on the front coilovers and fit some covers to them, fit decat, sort airbag...
