Standard or not, the chrome is proper Bradford. Bet it's comfier than the Clio though.

    Megane R26R

You'd think he'd invest in a decent camera if he's carry out such expensive work.

    Spraying front grills

Why not try some G Techniq C4? Yeh it's expensive but will last for ages and won't chip like paint will.

    Battery Cover Photo's

Love your engine cover, looks smart.

Reckon the pipe can be sprayed? I'd be interested in it but I don't think Blue and Orange would go. Oh and how have you blanked the decat off?

    Davys 172 Flamer!

Does look a bit too dark in the pics, but it all depends what it's like in person. I had a cup spoiler painted Inferno and it is a bit more orange than the rest of the car but you can't tell unless you properly look at it under artificial light.

    Davys 172 Flamer!

I think it's physically impossible to remove the brake light without cracking it, or in my case it definitely was!

    Clios spotted around Leeds

Definitely just the rain, not washed it in well over 6 months, started to get a bit more motivation again now so it'll get done soon.

    Clios spotted around Leeds

It honestly looks like it has been abandoned at the minute with the state of it!

Get back in your own section, only Yorkshire folk aloud in here :tongueout:

    Coming Home!

Give it chance, only posted less than 30 mins ago haha. Will be good to see you at some meets/CSF if you're going Mr Potato head. Yorkshire group is definitely growing of late!

    Davys 172 Flamer!

Don't wet them too much or else they'll end up staining and getting water marks on them!

    Davys 172 Flamer!

With regards to cleaning them, I've just got some Raceglaze Alcantara cleaner and a soft brush from Polished Bliss as mine as a bit shiny and mucky in places. Not used it yet so can't comment on how good it is but I'm using it at the weekend so will let you know if it's any good.

    Davys 172 Flamer!

I know what you mean, I'm in the same boat at the minute.

    Davys 172 Flamer!

If you've got the money/if Jon still does them, I'd recommend the lowered frames from @JON FOZ. I got both his standard height ones and lowered ones and the lowered ones make the driving position so much better.

    Oil Breather Pipe loose

Mind sometimes pops off the metal bit but the metal bit has never come out. Never seen that before.

    Davys 172 Flamer!

That like was for your bird, not the seats ;) In seriousness, I've just put Recaros in mine, they don't seem as supportive as the standard seats but the look ace.

    Yorkshire Winter Chit-Chat

    They'll look ace with a refurb 😂

    Rumbling noise

Oh did it not? Well if it does rock then it is definitely a wheel bearing, if it doesn't then it just could be a wheel bearing haha.
  20. leeds2592

    Rumbling noise

Jack it up and give the wheel a pull, if it rocks around then that would further suggest a wheel bearing.

Can't believe you finally got them wheels that you've wanted for ages. Bargain too from what you told me, can't think of why.....

    Alignment wtf?

Bram Racing in Ponte. Dan recommended it to me ages ago, been quite a few times now and they're spot on.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Takes 3.1L but you'll never get it all out so 3L suffices.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

As above, good work, glad you got it all sorted. Looking good as always as well, although them wheels could do with a scrub ;)

    Curious Steering...

Oh and Jack the car up, get underneath and have someone go from lock to lock so you can look for movement in the bushes. I thought my problem stemed from the rack bushes but when I checked they were solid as a rock.

    Curious Steering...

205's apparently tram line more than 195's so that may be contributing to your issue. You need a fan spanner cut in half to get the tie rods off although when I tried this I couldn't get enough leverage on it to get it undone. Got one of the tools off ebay that slips over the tie rod and had...

    Curious Steering...

Could be numerous things tbh, something as simple as alignment or tyre size but could be something a bit more involved like TRE, tie rods, rack bushes, ball joints etc. If you're changing the TRE's, whilst you're there you may as well change the inner tie rods at the same time. That's what I...

#TheBlackTurd - Clio 1.2 Dynamique (My First Car!)

Literally all you need is a Jack, stand, few sockets to change it, not sure what size they are though. I even got new lemforder wishbones with new ball joints for less than £45 a side!

    Clio turbo misfire/running rich

Only about 7 miles from me  And yeh you need to bring it to a meet before it gets sold.
