Why can't you drill it out? As long as you've got a decent drill and bit it should be pretty simple.
Drill it in the centre, tap a torx bit of something similar in and slowly twist it out.
I went from a non cup spoiler to cup spoiler on mine and the wiring went straight from the boot lid, under the black grommet thingy, to the spoiler with no connector in between.

A lot depends on how lowered your car is, if at all and offset of current wheels.
I wouldn't just add spacers to the front and leave the rears though as it'll look kinda out of proportion.
Without trying to hijack this thread, what's the best way to diagnose a failing lambda? My mpg is seriously bad at the minute, any other ways of checking if it's the lambda other than swapping them around?
Not sure if this is the same with factory fitted Recaros but with the Jon Foz subframes, you could swap the seats round by swapping the subframes on the seats.
