Sounds like you're putting it right mate. As Dan says when getting the belts done, get it done by someone who knows what they're doing with the correct tools- ie one of the specialists on here
Have a gander in the Traders sections. Should be first place you look when you need any parts or servicing :)
Also check if the little spacers/washers are present behind the rear discs that should be there
They use them to promote road safety at schools/colleges and galas etc
It gets the 17/18 year old lads attention and they can have a nosey round it and then the FS spread their message. Ie wear your seat belt and don't drive like a bell end on the roads
