lol! I've never been so disapointed in a game. Yes the graphics and gameplay (like physics etc) were amazing, but the game was just like your average FPS. Go here.....do that....then here......! So linear! And the big boss at the end! Seriously wtf! This isnt Sonic!

I wonder it Crysis 2 will be a dismally disappointing as the first game :(

Just imagine if one of shots you recovered was very important. That's the advantage of RAW. And you can output the raw shots to tif etc too for high quality printing.

My second attempt at a new lighting technique. I'm not worried about the background yet, just practising the technique. I might venture out somewhere to try it again this weekend :) And this was all the shots individually, straight from the camera (and the final):

I used to have the attitude to shoot in RAW for 'important' stuff etc. But now I am 100% RAW. If you get familiar with a proper RAW editor, there is so much more information in RAW shots you can reveal/edit. And you can alter the white balance, recover blown highlights, and fill lighting in...

Damn and I upgraded to the Desire not long ago :( Looks s**t hot!!

Another vote for photobox. Keep an eye on their website, quite often they have promotions etc

We've got a tilt shift lens at work, I've only had a quick play with it, quite hard to use to begin with. It's useful for product photography as you can increase the depth of field etc.

My Mum mentioned that when I called her from there, she has always wanted to go but says it's meant to smell. Tbh, I didn't really notice too much, some areas were a bit pongy, but that was about it.

No idea mate, not cheap Im guessing. I was on a business trip so I doubt I'd get away with that on expenses! And I was on my own, not a good look in a Gondola!

A few evening spent in Venice after work, what a place!! All taken with either the 16-35mm VR or 50mm f/1.4 lens. Stupidly I didnt take my 24-70mm which would have been a much better choice :( A few more photos on my blog page...
