The car looks fantastic, brilliant work.
Are you still on the same set up from the first page with the cooksports and spacers? I really like how it sits.
Yeah the for sale sections are only available for full members, sorry I forgot about that bit! The membership will easily pay for it's self though when you eventually buy one with the discounts etc.
I'm not sure how far exactly you want to travel but being in leeds you are probably about two...
It seems that these F4R engines take to higher milage well if looked after properly, there are a few on here well into the 100 thousand miles, fletch has one on 140k or there abouts, Sir dave had a trophy that was on 180 odd thousand miles and still took many beatings on track like a trooper so...
Re: Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project
That would be awesome yes thanks!
Is it being done at dtm or somewhere closer? I think I remember preston being mentioned for mapping a turbo conversion while I was there?
Re: Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project
Andy mentioned you were going for a turbo conversion when I was up having my belts done, I'll keep an eye out for the results!
I'm struggling size wise with the 182 it isn't really practical for chucking stuff in, I've just had the belts/dephaser done though so I'll be keeping it for now until I feel I have got my moneys worth out of it then sell it on and buy something bigger again.
Unfortunatley not! In the end I just started turning my radio up louder, I would love to know if other people have had the same problem and actually solved it though.
Brilliant purchase.
I really want to try an MX5, a good friend of mine has one that I love, I keep telling him to sell it to me but he won't part with it....yet.
That looks fantastic, the seats look like they are a nice place to spend time too.
Skoda have come such a long way from the stigma that used to be attached to them.
Looks fantastic, as mentioned it will be interesting to hear what it sounds like.
I think I'll hold out to see what happens price wise with these before buying an exhaust.
They really are great little motors, I had one for 18 months and it is the only car that I really regret selling out of everything I have owned.
do you have any plans for it?
I almost bought a standard spec one about 3 years ago now but I'm glad I didn't, like you just said I would like one with the full aero kit and recaro's, they totally change the look of the car for the better in my opinion.
These were the guys I used last..
