    Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project (+boost)

Re: Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project What have you been driving while the clio has been away? I have just got rid of my 1.0 turbo focus works motor, going between that and the clio has been pretty funny

What's the furthest you've travelled to buy a Clio (or any other car!)?

My clio was about 150 miles round trip there abouts so not too bad at all. Other than that I have got quite lucky really and never had to travel more than 120 or so miles round trip which is nothing in comparison to some of the above posts!

Peoples Ford RS Owners Meet 6/6/14

Awesome! More car dealers should do days like this, sure the publicity from pictures being posted on all the forums makes them very worthwhile.

    Brake pad question

Thanks, I'll probably just leave them out for now then and swap them if needed. Do you still run them now or are you running something else?

    Brake pad question

They were put onto new brembo HC disks at the same time, i'm sure they aren't meant to be as loud as they are, it's embarrasing! the amount of people that turn around when I'm coming to a stop from 15-20 miles an hour was pretty funny (I wish I had done a video now). I have put the oem ones...

    Brake pad question

Hi all I fitted some mintex 1144 pads not long ago on the clio, however after fitting they were squeeling a lot so my friend removed the anti squeel shims, then noticed I hadn't taken enough off the edges and put them in slightly wonky and some more copper slip on it which seemed to solve it...

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

This is what I use at present, it hasn't let me down yet I just wondered if they were worth trying. Cheers :) gally I've just placed an order for a das6 pro and some new pads, I'll leave the rotary for now I think.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

It looks like that's that settled then, I'll get the pro ordered, many thanks for your input :) While I'm here what do people think to the poorboys SSR compounds? I'm a big fan of their stuff and wondered if it was worth trying them. I'm trying to mix things up a bit and try some new products.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Thank you for the advice gally When looking around on DW last night it seemed the das6 pro was well recomended, especially with the £99 group buy on there, I'm a bit out of the loop now with polishers my das6 hasn't put a foot wrong in 6 years! I'm hoping I can repair it and keep it as a spare.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Thanks for the help :) I don't have a budget as such (within reason) I'm happy to buy the one that represents the best value to performance. Whilst the two you linked look good spec wise are they are they really worth two/three times the price as say the spin doctor?

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Hi chaps Well today my trusty DAS6 decided to give up after about 6 years of use, I'm going to look into fixing it but thought I would use this as an excuse to treat myself to a new machine, so what are people reccomending these days DA wise? I think I may buy a rotary aswell so I can go...

I don't think that is too bad personally, the wheel specialist places seem to have a very good rep too.
