Just fitted the new fire ring and spring bolts.
It seems that the new fire ring has made it so that the cat and the manifold are a few extra mm apart and therefore the washer between them is doing nothing and is rattling.
Should I just remove the washer?
Thanks,

The drivers side track rod end was replaced in May for its MOT. How do I check the ball joint and track rods?
The reason I was sure it was the shocks was because my rear shocks were making the exact same knocking sound and replacing them fixed that.
Thanks,

Where did you get this from? I've pm'd wests renault but I have not had a reply yet and I'm in need of the parts fairly soon. Any ideas where I can get the kit from?
Thanks,
STRBramley
Checked earlier today and it was blowing a fair bit.
I've replaced the bolt with a temporary fix until I can order the new part you suggested.
It's not rattling anymore but because the gasket needs replacing it is whistling a little bit as it is now tighter.
Thanks for the help.

I don't know much about these things but I'm sure something is wrong here.
The picture below shows where I think the problem is. The bolt you can see is not attached to anything
I have noticed a kind of blowing when accelerating so would this be the cause?
Thanks,
STRBramley
I'm getting a knocking sound coming from my passenger side when I go over bumps or grates. I assume this means the shock needs replacing?
I'm having trouble finding one. I found this. Is that all I will need to replace the front shock?
Thanks,

I just fitted my tweeters in my 182. Managed to do it without taking the dash off but damn it was hard!
Why do they make the cables so damn short?! Very fiddly job but got there in the end.
Not really though too much about. My priority at the moment is getting the alloys refurbished.
I was thinking of simple things like a new panel filter and maybe new exhaust system somewhere down the line.
Just been trying to find a guide but the search isn't too helpful. Any links?
;)
Finally got round to taking some pictures of my new car today.
Got it about two weeks ago and have been busy getting the rear shocks sorted as well as the rubber exhaust mounts.
As you can see from the pictures the alloys really do need refurbishing. Anyone know of a good place around...
