    HOU - Rust in peace

I genuinely have a lump in my throat. My first holiday with my now wife was in that car, back in about 2005! It had 26,000 miles on it iirc. I paid £5,500 for it from the Renault dealer where I worked. It was on the forecourt for £6999.

You need to fix the car mate. You know that yeah? You don't just turn the light off and the problem goes away, this isn't Harry Potter.

Who still drives a clio or moved on

I bought my Clio in 2008. I will never ever sell it. Ever.

    Opinion please

If it was me, I'd contact Agency and explain the situation. They may offer to repair it at a reduced fee.

    Opinion please

    1. No. it's a private sale from a private individual. 2. You can but their contract was with the person that paid them the money so they're perfectly entitled to not help you. 3. Yes unfortunately.

    Kahn design, Bradford

Look up 'Arkonik' I recently got offered a job there but had to turn it down as it's just a bit too far away. (An hour each way assuming there's no traffic, realistically 90 minutes each way) They build some of the best trucks I've ever seen. Their attention to detail (and their workshops!)...

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

They're nothing like they used to be. The era of solidly built E46's and E39's are a distant memory to them now. The new 1/2/3/4 series' feel so cheap it's unreal. My dad had a 535d and when the lease was up for renewal, he drove a 2 coupe, a 3 touring and a 4 Gran Coupe and ended up getting a...

    The daily E46 325i

330's (petrol and diesel) were 5 speed pre facelift. Facelift's had 6 speed.

    The daily E46 325i

It's a sport not an M-Sport. (Pedantic I know, but true) Nice car though. The E46's have aged very well. Unlike the E9x shapes, they are starting to look very dated.

jamesy's Megane 225 Inferno progress thread.

The chances are I sold that when it was new. I was the 'Renault sport specialist' at our dealership in 2004-2008. And our dealerships primary reg was WRxxxxx A pointless fact for you there!

Is it an 04 car with a facelift front end or a facelift car with a private plate?

    Handprints on Paint (sun cream)

If they're not too bad, a quick going over with regular car polish will hide it for a week or so. Ideal if you're handing it back to a lease company etc.

    Handprints on Paint (sun cream)

Suncream goes through the lacquer, you will never remove it completely. I know this, I have two massive ones on the back wing of my wife's car! Lol A good machine polish followed with a good wax will hide it for 6 months though.

I'm probably the worst person you can discuss ceramic coatings with mate! Lol I'm an atheist when it comes to anyone mentioning it unfortunately.

    Megane R26R

Nobody will say "I told you so" If they do I'll ban them for 1 week. That's a shitter mate. But (and I appreciate how experienced these people are) the people telling you Renault paint is hard are wrong. The black on Renaultsport cars is soft as s**t, the slightest hint of dust and a cloth...

f**k me sideways, that's horrific. f**k the car, the thing that scares me the most is your child. Me and my wife always put the kids in the car first, keep them out of the way whilst we're doing the packing the car thing. That could have ended much differently! I just mentioned it in the...
