I'll be there, will try and wash and hoover out the Meg to give it a decent representation of the new model. Sod it, it'll be good to get on board with some RS models
They can be to start with, I had the same years ago with another club back in my Renault 5 days. My first meet was actually in my home town of Southend along the seafront, I turned up in the 5 GT Turbo all enthusiastic and eager to meet fellow car owners only to be pretty much blanked after...
Same box, 2013 models had poor software which Renault revised. Night and day difference, much smoother and quicker gear predictions.
220 facelift turbo has a bigger cold side and bigger inlet. Better steering rack. Its hard to describe as I've said to quite a few people it's the tech and...
Touch wood, so far (that I know of) not one gearbox failure from any mapped 200 or 220. My old 200 has been mapped with about 240ft/lbs for about 2 years and still going strong.... ??

Being absolutely honest North Weald is a better location to go more often. Cafe, open parking, get to see some of the planes. I'm not saying Ians place is a no go it's personally what I'd prefer and maybe go to Ians now and then as an open day. It was good to see the unit and what goes on there.
I drove it for the first time 3 weeks ago on a public sessions day. I'm unfamiliar with corner names but what I do know is it was ridiculously over busy! Sending out 50 cars in one session, far too crowded and with people giving it the big one from the off. A shame really as yeah it's a decent...
