The Pro Alloy radiator sorts the cooling out if you go FMIC. To be honest with my FMIC the temps did go up but not to obscene levels, you could do a few laps then back off for a lap. The temps dropped fairly quick, it's more the guys living in the far east and Australia that see crazy hot...
Good plan, I imagine I'll be ok. I too need to wash it as it's hanging still from the 1000 mile road trip to Germany the other week. I'm assuming there's food there? I'm bringing my daughter along as she likes cars, and breakfast.... @Sash you about?
PMS have had them made to fit the OE Clio fitment one end and Brembo the other. It really is just bolt on parts bar bleeding the brakes, it doesn't take long to do. I renewed with new Motul 600 RBF brake fluid for trackdays, you need the 16mm spacers for the OE wheels to clear the 4 pot...
You leave your own discs on, it all just bolts on after you've taken off the OE calipers. You'll also need to buy the PMS brake lines to fit the Brembo calipers.
Do you know what, if I had the space and the money I'd more than likely do a full strip down and rebuild. So what about the costs, if someone truly loves the RenaultSport model and feels its their desire to take on such a project then so be it. It doesn't matter if the costs outweigh the end...
I ran OE leads on a 266hp supercharged setup with absolutely no problems. I've always used OE leads, even in my old modified GT Turbo days. There isn't any need to run something different
OK, that torque can only be hit by having a hybrid fitted. 280 is the limit found on the stock clutch with a hybrid, I believe only 2 people are running them and know them both. With a map the 200 tends to hit 240ish torque, the 220 nigh on 260. Usually the modded power route is a map with...
If you were at Blyton I would have been more than happy to have taken you out in my old mapped 220. It might be close, what helps the Clio is having the EDC gearbox with the quick, effortless and seamless gear changes.
What Mk Megane do you own, the one in your profile photo?
If you do...
I had a K&N in mine, pulled nicely after map with 251hp. About 2-3hp lower than an ITG as I went back to back with another 220. Mid range showed better torque and bhp on the ITG but I didn't wanna lose the OE airbox this time round so dropped the K&N in.
220 software is completely different to the early 200 EDC, 2 ends of the spectrum. What year is the Clio? They have a software upgrade which makes a massive difference to not only Auto but Sport Mode too.
