It was a good weekend. I just think the band and tent CSS had pushed it over the edge and left a lot required to beat it.
Bit of a shame that both clubs couldn't get a long for a day and have a massive event.
They had a bbq which was good to be fair. No band, and no massive tent which I think caused it to be less social unless you all ready knew a lot of people, of which I knew very few.
The track effort was brilliant, 50 out of 54 cars on track were clios, and the driving standards were as good as CSS.
Just on my way home from the enemy CSOC weekend. Was no where near as good as CSS15. Everyone at CSS was so much more friendly and social. The gazebo and entertainment at CSS just pissed all over it! I only went to CSOC weekender for the track time tbh.
CS till I die
Ye but I'm mental [emoji6]
If it happened early enough in the day I would do a clutch change. If in say the first hour, like his did! Would still be a good 7 hours left!
Shafts too short and damage to the cup on the shaft when it went bang first time.
I've fitted a cup shaft which is longer than a ph1 and all seems fine! Was surprised the shaft is a good 20mm longer.
My avatar is knockhill, bigger kerbs so you get more air!
My subframe is fine, I just lost a shaft. All back together now though. But yes bring spares for us idiots that's don't [emoji23]
I really enjoyed it, glad I made the last minute decision to come and was able to get track time. Was surprised at how many people knew who I was and especially the...
I normally take shafts, coil pack, leads, injectors and brakes, if it's anything bigger than that it's the end of the day [emoji23] I just never had them that day as I drove the car down. Rookie error [emoji23]
Well done CSS in this, morning track slot and blew a shaft
Luckily dry side, but I've been using ph1 shafts with a cup subframe 5mm wider each side and now the extra 5mm with the hub kit, I think this is the cause, amazed at how it hasn't happened before now but hey, maybe just luck. This...
Hi mate, was great chatting to you on Saturday! Never realised you left early to limp home! At least you got him in one peace. I ended up having to go back up to get my trailer and go back down to get mine!! Serves me right for driving hard when I didn't take the trailer!
I'm blaming you mate! I was going to cool down but I wanted to get past you first [emoji23] you were going well.
Look forward to seeing the video, just went bang and a big puff of smoke appeared, I thought it was the engine creating a new hole in the side!
Hopefully be back home, and get organised to leave and head back down in a couple hours! We're back in Scotland just now horsing on but it will be a slower journey back down with the trailer
Shaft done the same thing again before I even got out blyton! It looks like the wheel is sitting further out than the other side so I'm concerned something is bent
Quality weekend guys! Glad I made the last minute decision to come! Nice to meet you guys!
Shame my car never held up so well. I'm going back down to pick it up when I get home!!
