I am going to suggest a meeting point at Frankley Services Southbound M5 for those around the Wolves and Brum areas.
Suggest around 7:30 with 7:40 leave time to be there for 8:30
Post code is B32 4AR who is meeting at Frankley?
FCS I will be leaving to @..Jack.. as I will be out of the country from 6th to 13th June. CSS I will definitely be going as I missed last year due to work commitments and there is no way I'm missing it this year.
Didn't manage to get mine fitted. Removed 3 of the 4 bolts without issue. Bolt number 4 came off so far, but then slips like mad. Blasted it with wd40 so need to wait for it to take effect. Gutted is an understatement.
With the Connects2 I would feel your way behind the dash and into the glove box. That way, it's out of sight so if left in situ, no one will be aware. You would just use it like you would the CD changer...it will use the first 6 play lists as if they're CDs in their own right. Let us know if you...
I am going to have a good crack. It's just my driver's seat I'm replacing. There are pictures about a 3.3Ohm resistor so may need that in. Mine is the subframe and sliders as still want movement as I don't want seat to be stuck in one place and I am always changing my position. I'm hoping its...
I thought the pretensioners just fit onto your subframe and do the necessary. I have to fit my buckets and subframes this weekend...don't know if I'm looking forwards to it or not...
Leon...any excuse for the males of CS to walk around looking at women with big boobs asking if they are Michelle. Can see some of the lads getting black eyes. ;)
From their website...
Gates open at 6.00pm Friday. Track opens from 10.00 am both days until 5.00 pm subject to track and weather conditions permitting.
It would still cost £12 to come in and the extra if you want to run. But you will have lost half the day that's the only problem.
Remember....we were all new to CS and the West Midlands at some point. Pop to a meet...say hello. If you stay in your car and say nothing, chances are no one will speak to you. If you come over and introduce yourself I promise the lads and lasses in the West Midlands group of CS will make you...
I think the overnighter should be a good laugh. Our own venue and no outside interference. Watching @DaveDreads getting pissed and puking has got to be a plus!
Having had both a 172Cup and a 182 I would say I prefer the proper 1*2 seats. The lumbar support and adjustable headrest are great for longer journeys. Obviously though, everyone's opinion is different, but this is my experience. The thing is, if you're used to the standard 172Cup seats...then...
John...you know my feelings mate. You've got a nice motor there. I would refrain from anthracite on a Titanium 172/182...although sure I'll change my mind one day. ;)
I know sweet cheeks. Looking to kick plans in may so we still have enough time. You doing track and full weekend? Also don't forget Shakespeare Raceway in a couple of weeks...
Hi all,
I have a Cobra Clubman seat for my 182. It is yet to be installed and is still sat in my office.
I want to install it in the 182 with the slider so it can move back and forth as I will be v.undecided about location if I'm honest.
What will I need to get? Is it the subframe with...
I've got mine booked in for Cambelt, Aux Belt, Water Pump and Dephaser just after Easter at Diamond Motors. The car is 10 years old and has done 102K, the problem is that I know its a big job, but I'd rather do it now while the rest of the engine is being done, than have cam and aux belts done...
Is there not a windows 8 sticker with a serial number on the bottom? If you bought the device from a reseller, they should have an OEM key which if you download the correct version from Microsoft you will be fine. For the sake of £40 or so, I would get a new HDD and go from there...least it will...
RSVP Here so we have the numbers for the day. It will help us work out how many people are attending. Thanks in advance. :)
