Mk3 having issues with the nearside position light (sidelight) not lighting (even though the 501 bulb works on the 182 and the working one in the 182 doesn't work on the mk3!!! Also, both numberplate bulbs don't work. Replaced them both so not sure if there is some random French connection...

The alternator...almost certainly. Just because the belt is on there and it moves freely, doesn't mean that the alternator is working properly. Its about £50 for a second hand one from Renparts, its better than Renault's brand new one (which will be well over £200 and still might have issues...)

Loz, this event in our eyes has been put on here for Cliosport.net members. As this is the case they will get precedence over non-members (obviously).

Also, the 1*2 seats have lumbar support, whereas the Cup ones don't...unsure about the standard model seats though.

Good lad. The 182 was sat in a garage SORN for almost a year...wasn't really arsed as had company car. Thought I'd get her re-MOT'd and had such a good blat on way to test centre that I knew I was back in love with her again.

Boo...at least it won't be as cold as the last time we went. My 182 was my daily driver so didn't run it, and it was silly cold. @cswalmsley and I were frozen...even having a flask of coffee in the car to keep me warm didn't help. Mind you, it was the back end of October! ;)
