Just to update this, had my MOT done yesterday and it flew through and no fail/advisory for the blanks. They didn't even mention them when I picked it up :)
Strange isn't it that he's so active on Instagram and that other Clio group on Facebook where everybody bums him yet he can't knock a reply together for a customer.
At least its booked in and lights at the end of the tunnel.
If your's are anything like mine was, don't even bother attempting until you've got a puller. I got the one that @jesus has suggested from Halfords. Just be careful as it's a bit awkward and you can easily scratch the plastic.
Once they're off, it's a piece of piss to just move them up/down a...
Some people say they hardly notice a difference in vibration but my was really bad. When the car was cold and idling it would shake the rear view mirror. Had it on for a few weeks now and it's settled down loads, almost like it was before but it's now so much nicer when changing gear.

Possibly same size but gearbox washer is just a copper washer where as the engine oil washer is silver and has a black bit on it. You need the copper one.
There's a guide on here if you do a search. I just used a bit of garden hose I had laying around when I did mine, fit perfectly.
Just remember you'll need a new copper washer as well!
I'm definitely not an expert but for how simple and cheap it is, it wouldn't do any harm changing the gearbox oil, especially if it's never been changed. At least you could rule one thing out.
That's also my understanding. Depends who you ask.
We'll soon find out though as I've got my MOT next week and removed the washer jets and replaced with blanks since the last MOT.
Had another look at this tonight, tried to trim the existing loom down to fit the new light but no joy. After much cutting, I've managed to free the cables which has given me this (see below).
What I'm going to go is wrap electrical tape around each wire so they can't touch but I don't know...
Thinking about this, would it not be possible to cut the loom off the car end and fit two female spade connectors that will then go into the brake light? Only problem may be it being too short like you've said @mossyv6.
Hi all,
Just come to fit a Cup spoiler to replace my standard Sport one and I've got a new brake light as well but it won't fit. The connector on my car is round and the one on the brake light is square, see pics below.
Easiest way to get it to fit? I don't have a soldering iron so that plan...
