Smoke smell in Recaros, what's the best way to get rid? Bought some recently and seller failed to mention they smell like they've been in a taxi where the taxi man has smoked and tried to cover up the smell with 1000 air fresheners.
I know it's hard to get rid of fully but what am I best off...
If you see me again, just give me a flash, I mean with your headlights not......
Anyway, I'm always parked on the road at the side of Morrisons through the day as I work in the Town Hall.
Ah right, I'm usually down there everyday as I drop my other half off at work on the outskirts of town and then go up Geldard Road to Morley to work.
What do you drive, I'll keep an eye out, although I usually drive like a bit of a div around there cos 9 out of 10 people haven't got a clue how...
Pity you aren't closer @Jimbob 2705 as we could have tackled this together, I really want to have a bash at it but don't fancy buggering the brakes up!
Best way mate, although I told Becki they were £250 and text the lad to say when I come to pick them up, please don't say they were £500 say they were £250 instead. He said that's fine and text me the directions straight after, as his was quite hard to find. Fast forward to picking them up, I...
Not had chance to get them in yet, need to make my mind up whether I want to spend another couple of hundred quid and get the lowered Jon Foz frames or not.
Thing is we're renting at the moment and a mortgage would be cheaper so we'd actually be better off. Luckily she's pretty understanding...
BG's always look good on Anthracite Turini's, nice one.
And I daren't think of what I've spent on mine. Me and the other half are supposed to be saving up for a deposit for a house and I've just bought some Recaros last week haha.
Oooooooooooo.
Really want to jump on this, go to the Lakes on the Friday though for 2 nights. Reckon my GF would mind me driving home from the Lakes for this then driving back? haha. I've even cleaned my engine bay for you @OssPoop
Painting the brakes mate, mine are looking a bit tired but never got round to doing them. Need to stop the bloody things squeeking everytime I brake first though!
New wheels are going to spot on.
That's nice and plans look good.
I know exactly what you mean about the Clio as well. I absolutely love mine when I put my foot down round some bends but its hard to drive sensibly. 225 or Focus ST will be my next choice in the not too distant future I reckon.
I was surprised at how easy it was to fit my coilovers which is pretty much the same process as just doing the springs. Helped that I had @dann2707 pretty much doing them for me whilst I watched and learned how to do them. I'd refuse to pay £100 though.
A big breaker bar is always handy to get...
