You can definitely replace just the cv joint for the outer, not sure about the inner. Think for an aftermarket joint it's about £30 so if an aftermarket driveshaft is £50 delivered it may be easier to do that as you'll have to get the driveshaft out and in a vice to replace just the joint anyway.

I use this stuff on my tips, never been bad enough to use wire wool so I just use a microfibre, comes up like new everytime. Brilliant stuff!

Can't comment on the GAZ's but I had AP's on my A3 and thought they were excellent for the price. Highly rated in the VAG world and made by KW so you know they're my won't just fail and fall apart.

I was actually looking at that as well as Raceglaze Alcantara Cleaner but wasn't sure if the latter would get rid of the smell.
