Having worked in the fuel additive industry for the last 7 years I personally wouldn't use regular supermarket unleaded in a performance engine like the F4R, I've always used Tesco Momentum 99 in all my cars (standard & performance) over the years and never had an issue, plus its similar in...
I think you'll be OK on the day with hot slicks and a bit of pre-load adjustment, if rain is forecast then maybe take a set of pre-bedded in OE pads with you just in-case.
Stick with the RC8's and have a play with your pre-loads on the day mate, don't let them defeat you
I'm gonna give them another blast at Aintree in May, I've just got wider front tyres to throw on to aid traction under braking, hopefully this will help and it'll come together nicely.
Just use the cup set up removing the OE compensator and use a proper bias valve plumbed inside the car by the gear stick, manual adjustment at your fingertips.
Few guys on here have done this...
Not got the ABS deleted but my 182 locks the NSF first with RC8s. Does it drag you left as well? The pads are mega spec TBH and not sure they suit such a light car.
At least with the i3 you'll be safe no will steal it as they wouldn't have a clue how to start the thing, lol. And you could track them every step of the way via the app.
I'm near Liverpool mate, and I dare not buy something appealing for fear of this, bloody sad times we live in.
Wow, that's feckin scary s**t. As stated in PM sorry to hear. What a sad, horrible world we live in where we can't have nice things without fear of scum bags like this taking them by force.
Hope you enjoy the i3.
I've had a powerflow on my old Mazda 6 MPS, it was a custom made 3" with twin pipes and built in decat all for £370.
Sounded so nice, plus you can have them sound however you want with how big (quite) or small (loud) you have the silencers.
Brake discs need serious heat to warp, could just be your pads with crap on them. To check for run out you'll need a DTI gauge, I got one from Amazon for £20. Pull your pads and see the state of the surfaces before anything, then check ARB bushes, steering rack bushes, tie rod ends and ball...
Car looks good mate, how you finding the RC8s? I've recently fitted them and attended Oulton and they where crazy, compared to the RC5. I just couldn't get my braking right all day due to them locking up to easily, nearly had an off due to this then lost my confidence in them. Track was cold and...
The OMP wheel should have come with a red and black wire with spaded ends to just hook them up from OE wiring to the back of the horn button, if not maplin sell them for pence.
Saturday 27th May, get subscribed in the link below and they'll email you when booking opens around 4 weeks before

Yeah mate, stupid cross beam behind the rear seat upright for rigidity. you can get the seats down from inside the boot once you take the trim away, and you can also remove the beams but not sure how this would effect handling mind as they're already a pudding at the rear with the beams in situ...
@Pearcy will get close, I'll end up with a mid 47s lap after a few tweaks here and there. Its that 1st right corner and the hairpin right towards the end of the lap where the time is made up.
No mate, just standard set up on PS4 with a pad and full assists. This wont be nowhere near the fastest this month once other players get involved, I wouldn't be surprised if the winning time was in the 46's...
Wanting more track performance from the Clio but just cant justify the costs of cams, ITB, turbo etc. So my thinking is the above set-up on standard engine with a EFI basic remap coupled to intake and exhaust only. My box is in need of a rebuild so whilst that would be getting done I'd have...
