Old man moan but are there any decent apps anymore?
The app store is split between IAP games (Clash of Angry birds etc.) and crap games desperate to show you adds (flappy giraffe etc.) oh and fives nights at freddys number 17.
Just re-downloaded FlightControl from back in the day, it's still a...
TV + ROKU 3, Chromecast or tablet (2x iPad minis already) seem like the best solution after all.
Don't want to let go of my PC but need to compromise something. Excuse for a new laptop I guess!
Now, Alienware 15 or XPS 13, that's a whole new thread that is...
Laptop seems inevitable but buying the flat is sucking up all my £££. Will likely use it as a temporary solution and an excuse to buy a nice telly first as my monitor is on its way out. It sounds like the noise of it will certainly grind my gears.
I'm shortly moving into a 1 bed flat and don't want to waste space with a Desk/PC setup.
Would connecting the PC to a modern TV and using a bluetooth mouse/keyboard and speakers be a good move?
I can see lots of advantages to running youtube/netflix etc. but are there any major downsides I'm...
The whole 16GB to 64GB thing is a load of b*****ks. The Mini 2 with 32GB is a much better buy.
It isn't worth the extra £120 for touch ID and errr very little else.
I hope the Mini 4 is an actual jump in tech but I suspect Apple would rather people purchased their phablet, makes them more money.
Purchased my 182 last year, clean example with some well done mods, except maybe the battery relocation to under the passenger seat (although loads of room under the hood for a big air filter).
The car is used sparingly, weekends and short journeys. As time goes on the battery is liking this...
After reading a numbing amount of reviews I got the Sony SRS-X3 for £70; seems they give the Soundlink mini a good running at half the price and I despise portable devises that don't offer micro USB charging.
This has lead to me looking at the SRS-X9 :openmouth:
hmmmm, I can't decide between the following, tbh it'll be more for youtube/iPlayer/SkyGo video from my iPad mini than banging out music, so put off by the Soundlink Minis boosted bass.
UE Boom, was £99, now £140 FFS (have John Lewis Vouchers), so much for things being cheaper after Christmas...
Mini 2 32GB with Smart Case £270 via John Lewis, happy with that. Especially since I'm in the middle on nowhere on tethered internet and didn't have to internet que for John Lewis..
Can we expect much from Apple or other Apple retailers?
Currys are running £20 off with IPAD20A but going to hold out until the weekend. Don't expect Apple will offer anything(?) or much more.
I'm finding the whole dropping 32GB just taking the wee wee to squeeze every penny.. Progression would be dropping 16GB.
I guess you can always load external memory with a lighting to USB although some rumours suggest iOS 8 is making that very difficult.
I'm semi-confident the iPad Air 1 still...
Really can't decide, Air 2 with 16GB [£399] vs Air 1 with 32GB [£360]
The processor and anti reflective screen are tempting me to spend a little more but sacrifice the memory. We tend to steam stuff but imagine you can get some very nice games these days that would fill 16GB up quickly?!
Who...
So the mini 3 was a bit meh, no reason to upgrade from my mini 1 except to maybe a discounted mini 2. It looks like you are paying a lot of money for finger print unlock and a slightly better camera.
Anyway, looking at getting an iPad Air for the female this crimbo, does it still power along...
Stunning but depressingly my seemingly 'powerful' PC can't handle 4K video playback very well, editing would be a nightmare.
The Silver is very tempting, me or my PC would never cope with the black edition.
Built in touch LCD
manual controls [like ISO]
Could be a good little travel camera!
So reading the first page, they've been overcharging for memory for a long time then :p
I have zero desire for this and I'm a big big fan of the iPad mini. Will no doubt go play with it in a store to get a more informed view.
For me upgrading the 182 is about changing the weaker bits on the car, not overly bothered about performance. There isn't much to be had without spending big.
I'd concentrate on things like changing the exhaust as the original rusts off, not for power gains.
Although all this RS tuner chat has...
You are probably right, although I may have got 380 from top to bottom without the light going on, can't remember now. Only use about a tank a month but will do it by the pump next time..
