Well disappointingly i didn't get my engine fitted this weekend, gearbox was supposed to be done friday but was delayed it will be back tomorrow so engine will be in tomorrow night hopefully and i'll get it all plumbed, wired and finished off this week.
Everything else is pretty much done...
Sonny, not all day, just after work when its cooled off!
Carbonraider, theres a brand new heated screen sat here waiting to go in from heatedwindscreens.com
Russ
Some more bits done today/yesterday. Got the rest of the rear windows fitted.
Got my seat and harness fitted properly too.
Couple of little bodywork details, been waiting for my boot handle to be painted so i fitted that to the boot lid, because its a fibre glass boot and i have no boot...
Thanks for the comments guys, got some more bits done this week. Finished the suspension bits off, gave them a lick of paint and pressed the bearings in etc.
Also got the rest of my bodywork fitted, both fibreglass doors from CM Composites and my front wings, skirts and door mirrors etc, it...
Small update. Gearbox has gone away to my gearbox guy to be checked over and rebuilt as necessary. Sent him a box with afew other bits in too, notably a Gripper LSD and 13/59 crownwheel and pinion + a shorter 5th gear set.
Also bought some more bits from Chris (Crispy Clio) as he was breaking...
Not a massive amount of progress to show but now have a lot of parts so hopefully should go a lot quicker from here on in.
Rear end is built up, fitted the rear bumper, tow strap and fibreglass bootlid with spoiler.
Waiting on my poly windows coming from Plastics4performace and acw and they...
There's some serious commitment in that video tony anyone that knows the 'ring will agree to that. Just can't work out if the car is not set up particularly well for the wet or what, the steering wheel is all over the place!

Iirc rs6 plus's had anthacite wheels not silver so guessing its a plus and they're a shade darker? Looks good anyway, anything 'performance estate' is fine with me.
Russ
Don't agree mate, been in loads and after owning e30 m3, e36 evo, e46 m3 and z4m its just not what I expected an m3 to be, I'd much rather have an M135i or 1M.
Russ
Still undecided on the E92 M3 at the minute, they are for nothing now as well, dct's seem to be more money though. Just seem really heavy and not massively fast with no torque from my experosnce. They do look good on csl/competition pack wheels like yours though, be interesting to see how the...
Tbh it's the ford that would be my favourite too especially for the price which no one has mentioned. Has anyone driven a 208? I drove a base model a while back and it was horrific, fundamentally flawed IMO, the gti has no hope really.
Russ
I'm not interested in either tbh, they both do nothing for me, i hope Renaultsport dont go the same way as Peugeot and lose their hot hatch genius.I know things move on etc but i have no interest in a hot hatch with (a) 5 doors and (b) no manual option. Its bad enough that everything has...
I've literally just put it on there! I'm testing the water more than anything, i dont have to sell it and i'm not taking any silly offers so will see what happens.
Russ
lol probably! Both neighbours over the road have just bought x3 new Vauxhalls between them so didn't want the estate going downhill. Best thing is though my next door neighbour was picking his new bmw up at the same time we picked ours up this morning as well, only he wasn't taking pics of his...
Rob, everytime I take a pic of it its a different colour, this is on the SLR, on the iphone its terrible!
Piers yeah its a great car just not sure if i'm going to keep it yet or not.
Russ
Zweimal = Twice or two of if you're German isn't great btw!
Weather was decent today so got a couple of pics of the Z4M Coupe while it was still clean after its big detail last week and also a couple of the wife's new car that we picked up this morning as well. Its an Estoril Blue 118dM-Sport...
Its been a while but I've got the shell back from paint, looks pretty good, just need to pick my panels etc up and start building it back up. No metal panels to go back on now, boot, bonnet and doors are all fibreglass so should bring the weigh down a bit.
Managed to get the engine built up...
