Well after 10,000 miles of Y424 XES, i thought i'd fire up a thread with how its been living with a high mileage Phase 1 172, bought off a lad in Creiff (Fife) for £800 after i had seen it advertised on Gumtree with 116k on the clock, a deal was done. All in, its been a reativley stress free...

Fantastic package, it feels as though it should have left the factory. Smaller wheels and its a great all-rounder, you cannot go wrong. Recaro's were an extra option on the Mountune's, an expensive one at that IIRC.

Its the sensor for certain, it just pulls out. Literally take two minutes to change. I will say, do it when the engine is cold, its pretty close to the manifold...

Yup, HB3 9005k I bought some off Ebay from Hong Kong 8 months ago (6000k) they were £26 and are perfect, the service was absolutley spot on aswell! You also need to decide on light colour/temperature, for reference, standard 1*2 headlights are 4300k.
