Looks awesome and would love to see how it feels compared to the Stiff Shift kit I have from Noos, guessing it would be a even bigger improvement in tightening things up.
That was me guys, end of reg ZXX.
Would have flashed if I had known it was a friendly fellow CS lol, flashed and waved at way too many Clio Sports and had shocked looks.
Awesome work :) really like the passenger side floor and thought that's gone into all the car. Can see the great advantages of a wrap with the repair :)
Will be the thermostat. Mine would warm up on idle fine but cool down a bit when driving. Found the seal on the middle of thermostat wasnt seated properly and causing it to bypass, replaced and all fine since
Doesn't look too bad at all (rear spoiler in silver looks out of place though) but considering they're making so few of them they could have gone a bit more wild with it's spec even if it were only 'F1' inspired unique parts wheels, 'aero', exhaust.
Ask Tony said ask Yanoo he's more than helpful :)
Not all Clios need the brash bush iirc, later ones don't and it can't be fitted due to revised Renault design.
Beautiful piece, be interesting to see some graphs on a proper spec engine .... wheres Ian Speedy? xD I'd have to have it ceramic coated atleast to only try to prevent burning flesh lol
Does your strut brace clear it?
Re-bleed and if still not coming up to temp, check the thermostat that it seals properly and not bypassing there. Does it come up to halfway when car is stationary?
Thank you :) If its got history from traders in here (Birchdown/BTM/519automotive/RS Tuning) that would be perfect. Would say you can buy mine but it's not going anywhere for foreseeable future :)
As Jesus mentioned Silver Hammerite is pretty much exact match for the Sachs silver. Have look in my project thread as I've sprayed mine twice now since I've had car.
Wheels came up great too :)
Dan, when reworking the standard inlet manifold are you able to rework it fully to be optimum? Or is there a compromise so to speak due to the construction of the upper half?
Looks as mentioned that the cv boot clip has simply split there. But as Dan mentioned check it, I all's ok, repack with cv grease and use a jubilee clip on it. Without taking end if cv shaft off and using standard boot clip that's the best option a jubilee
They've spent a lot of money there and still are. Hopefully in next few years it'll be up to level of other circuits and be able to host BTCC races and such :)
