yea that is 1 possible problem could do what my mate did with his astra hit the lip with a hammer then if it cracks on the inside just go over it with hammerite. its propper ghetto mod/fix but you wouldnt know unless he told you

no please dont, people who "build" rat look cars should be shot because you cant force rat and look cool, its either fucked already and you put wheels on it and drop it properly or dont do it at all
