Adding a filter isn't really editing though.
You can change highlights, shadows, contrast, exposure etc in Snapseed, as well as putting a filter on if you wish
Definitely take the tripod. You can walk across Liverpool in 15 minutes. Its a really small city.
Maybe go up the Anglican cathedral, just by china town. Some cracking views over the city and towards North Wales. Also the radio city tower too. Think they are both around a fiver each.
Was at the in-laws last night. We drove through some low lying fog/mist. Didn't look that good when we got to their house but once the sunset colours came through it started to look half decent.
Times like these though I wish I had my crop body and 55-250 instead of my 105mm on FF. Had to crop...
Down the docks in Liverpool. Some good long exposure shots to be had there.
Maybe the Printworks in Manchester? I've not been to Manchester for night photography so I'm not 100% on there.
As for daytime shots, they are both very good cities with some incredible architecture so you shouldn't...
Has this all come through on its own or have you downloaded it from somewhere?
Still waiting for mine to pop up. Hopefully it'll come through soon though tho. My mate got it the other night on his N5.
It does it for you. You just need to upload them at the same time.
Other than that, I don't think you can order them differently. I think they are ordered by upload.
If you want the pictures to be together then you'll either have to make sure they are uploaded together or just have them in...
Went to the North Wales photography association inter club competition today.
Our camera club had entries, as did 18 other clubs in North Wales.
This is the winning colour print (not from our club)
Now to me, that isn't photography. It's photoshop. Digital art.
There was no theme for...
Do you mean like the images that I have put in a red square there @Geddes? Thats just a preview of the images you upload if you put up more than one at a time.
My dad bought his camera from this place. The price is a bit cheaper than the link you sent. I think the delivery was around a week, it was longer than stated but everything came as it should have...
Yeah that definately works Tony. I hoped for something similar with the boat shot the other day but it just wasn't dull enough. Probably didn't help that I couldn't do a long exposure either.
Had a very quick go this morning before work. Have the update downloading sonits ready for when I get the chance to play.
Seemed pretty good though from my half hour on it.
Go to a camera shop. Try Nikon and Canon and maybe a Sony but I'm not too sure on their entry level DSLRs.
Have a play with them then make your mid up.
The comment about not getting into is until post processing is personally, not the way to look at it as you want to get the image right in the...
@Geddes - I prefer the B&W shot of the wheel but the colour looks nice.
@Yanoo Cracking shot. Really can't wait until the summer when the Milky way is at its best. The only way I have tried to clear up the LP is using the individual colour sliders in Lightroom. Takes a while though. You've done...
Put a colour version up too but it's personal preference. If the colour in the sky is good then the colour version can often look better. I'm more of a monochrome man though.
Got these with my 6d, 105mm f4 and 10 stop ND. Heavily cropped (sent images to phone and edited in Snapseed)
I'll have a proper look on the laptop tonight.
You'll need a fairly good zoom and a strong ND filter if you want to get anything half decent.
I'm working but I'm going to have a try with my 105 and then stop ND but I will have to crop the hell out of it if I manage to get it.
That looks a good spot for long exposure photography.
I probably would have got the ND filter for your kit lens though as it will offer you a bit more of a range for landscapes etc.
Which filter did you get?
They do seem a bit random. I'll have a look later to see what they were up against.
I really liked Monument Valley, very short but a really nice looking game.
OlliOlli is annoying but addictive, but best sports game? Again, I'd have to see who it was up against.
I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as my trusty 7 year old 42" LG is on its way out. Starting to get a weird band down one side which goes if i give it a bit of a smack.
Don't really want to spend a fortune. Not too fussed on it being smart as I have the PS4 and a BT Box for anything I need.
Well I went back to the same spot last night for an hour to get some more time lapse stuff.
One camera setup got this. Just processing the video now. Laptop is crying!

One from tonight. Temp dropped to -1. Started getting moisture on the lens which isn't what I wanted when doing a timelapse set/stack....
