I defo did...8K in the Joke....4.5K in the first Focus, 10K in second Focus and then 3.5K in 308...That's over 25K miles...182 has done about 3K since last MOT!
Nothing wrong with it...its just SORN, so need to do a few bits for MOT, then tax and insurance...so expensive outlay in one go. I got a new car on April 1st and already done over 3,600 in it! :o
FCS...The 182 won't be going to this...can do it in the work car (its French...) we can do usual...meet at Corley on the Saturday morning and go from there. This will be sorted in the next few days to assess numbers, etc.
Matt I have been organising meets for the West Mids for 7 years and not once been moaned about messing up meets. The monthly meets were something I set up which you took over and you still can't get it right.
As you know, I can change the Calendar to match the event, but let me know in...
Any suggestions for the next West Midlands meet...as we could be waiting for Matt to sort something out. This will be for next Monday 19th May.
Sensible suggestions, in reasonably easy to get to locations (somewhere reasonably easy to find/near Mway)
No restrictions as long as it is:-
a) in...
Have you reconnected all pipes and cables up? That light can cover a multitude of sins. Had it on missus's 1.2, cleaned throttle body and was fine afterwards. If you don't connect pipes and cable connections up properly it will report a fault so check those first...
I would replace the pump...it might sound okay, but if the bit isn't 100% and there isn't crap in the jet outlet, then I would replace it. Remember it is 12 years old (pretty much) and has probably seen some action. I've just replaced both on my 54 plate 182 and it works brilliantly, whereas...

One that has the bit on side...not the underneath...the one above is the one you want/need. :)
I did both. If ones gone, there is a chance the other one will not be too far behind. (Better safe than sorry). Make sure you get the right pump...as I ordered from ebay and got it wrong. No biggie...but was pain in arse reordering.
I would remove them...especially if the pump nearest the wing needs removing...I did mine and removed the wipers, scuttle panels, motor, and undid the bold holding washer bottle to be able to get in there...
Sod em...if they have that attitude, would you really trust them? I have walked away from people with that kind of attitude, as why should you give them your hard earned?
Its amazing that someone with that kind of attitude will be able to sell to someone who has at least half their mind!!!
Which part of Mids are you? We have East and West (which is best!!!) We do arrange meets and do a monthly meet on the 2nd Monday of each month.
I would join as we have a guides section where something new to you, is old to us and I would be certain your first issue will cost more than the £12...
Problem is Martin, with the f4r engine in the 172/182, you need someone who knows what they are doing as only a tiny bit out can lose power. Even if this change is done by someone who is hand with a cambelt change, but not the engine itself...it could already be out by a smidge...and only a...
