It might be possible the test didn't actually run on those I suppose? Just looked at my printout for the 100TCE and it shows the same for those two. I didn't see any probe yanking (thankfully).
Mine just slid off and new ones just slid on nicely without force. i think you best option would be to get those longer bolts and slowly screw it off, making sure you turn each bolt a couple of turns at a time to keep the force symmetrical.
p.s any long bolt will do that fits through the hole...
just to give you an idea, my 182 with original cat + RSTuner map passed just last week with these results:
engine speed: 2000-3000rpm
CO : 0.001% (limit 0.2%)
HC: 0ppm (limit <=200ppm)
lambda: 1.028 (limit 0.970-1.030)
I like this car minus the rear spoiler. Nice to see a Mk1 that's not rusty as well. used to remember the volvo engine swap being quite popular, why isn't it done these days? These engine must be fairly cheap now?

just a word of warning as you do seem to be a newbie to the scene. If you do go for a 172/182, make sure the belts have been done or that car is £500 cheaper than the normal asking price (as that's how much it will be for you to get them done). All 172/182's should have had there belts done by...
don't count on it. Title says 'weekend of the 19th', not 'the 19th' like it should do if we have settled for that date ;)
Are there actually any plans yet? Considering its next Saturday, we should probably have at least some plans by now :) I hope :S
who was in that faction then? Was it Mosley in his silver 182? He likes to go get maccyDs...
did I wake that Travelodge person up enough to stick his head out the window again on the way out? I was trying my hardest...
you were told wrong. Provided its been looked after and had regular oil changes, the problems related to millage are going to be minimal. The problems relating to age will be there whether is a low of high millage example.
all 172/182's are sports. if you want abs + xenon's, then don't get a...
