I used half inch stainless steel self tappers (button head type), about 6 each side. Not sure I would trust plastic rivets to holding up if it scraps on something (like mine has a few times now).
Mine is doing the same so also interested in suggestions. also checked the above. Mine gets really audible sometimes when over 4krmp. Kind of sounds like a ringing type metallic rattle.

has it every had the aux belt changed? as that's also supposed to be changed at only 30k as well. When these go, they normally always take out the cambelt as well. Obviously gets changed when you get the cambelt done but might be a reason to drive it even less...

sub £500 from a specialist inc. Aux belt kit. This really should be the first thing you get done as they need to be changed at 72k or five years, and its been well over years so your working on borrowed time. Remember a snapped cambelt nearly always means new...
screw the slitter on first. Do not remove any of the existing screws as these hold the arch liners on etc. Start from the middle and work outwards. Trim the ends when done :)
not strictly true. the new chrome os allows for applications that don't run in a web browsers and are more desktop like. i have only used one (a game, Murder files) and was presently surprised with the experience.
