Genuine question; what's the point of fitting wider wheels if it's not to improve your tyre width/contact with the road?
Seems odd to go to the expense of wider wheels...but fit the same tyres that were fitted to the narrower ones!
Aye. If budget tyres are so lethal why when people have even less grip available (when driving on snow for example) is there not complete carnage on the roads?
Answer...because people drive to the grip and conditions available to them.
Simply having lower grip levels is not the sole reason...
You ALWAYS wear a crash helmet when driving on the road?
WTF OMG, you're insane if you don't. How precious is your head, you must take absolutely every single step available to protect it. Surely?
Exactly this ^^^.
If something is taking a high percentage you can drill in and find out what it's doing, how long it's kept the phone awake etc.
I tried doing that on my wife's 5C last night.
LOL at what information I couldn't find and what I couldn't do. Just LOL.
First week of ownership someone commented on the ST's 'amazing' colour. Then it went quiet for 29,000 miles until a few weeks back when I got accosted in a Shell garage by a copper.
Kept me stood about chatting for a good five minutes until is oppo told him to get going.
Too big, too many doors, too soft, too automatic.
That's the standard argument/complaint from just about anyone that's already made up their mind about the car. Such a shame.
The only problem with this car I can make out is the timing, and Renault's handling, of its launch.
I've worked it out now...I wasn't swiping from the bottom left phone icon...just swiping from left to right anywhere on the screen takes you to the phone menu, from right to left anywhere brings up the camera and straight up is the home screen.
So I must swipe up, swipe up, swipe up...
Amen. 125k happy miles in mine from new and what did I do? Ruined it. Grrr. Wish I'd never done a single thing to it. As it came direct from Renault it was perfect for what it was.
Define 'best'?
Each model has strengths and weaknesses compared to the others, and as said above ALL of the older generations are likely to be very thin on the ground and doubtful will still exist as Renault intended.
The ONLY issue I've had since updating my Nexus 5 is that whenever I unlock I'm faced with the dial screen regardless of it being either open or the last app accessed before locking.
Annoying!
