What discs was you using with the DS3000's? was they grooved? If so the groves should clean the face of the pad, or at least keep the build up to a minimal, maybe de-glazing them after a race/track day would prolong the life? Generally im not a fan of drilled discs, as these can act like a...
Ok, well having owned an RS4 for a few years where warped discs was a norm, I think I will see how I get on after the next race meeting, they seemed good in testing last week. Saying that im more than happy to experiment. What pads you running in your Wilwoods now then? haha Alcons, nice.
I already booked 2 days off (have to get cover), I finish at 7am...so would be a mad rush getting up there, I aim to be there on the 4th around 5pm ish
Small update, finally installed my DRE Shift light, took me a year to pull my finger out. Simple to install and set up, not tested it yet. Not bad for £80
Bright little bugger, had to turn the brightness down to the lowest setting.
You still are allowed to ride the kerbs, outside the white line, just not beyond the kerb, personally I think that's acceptable....however if no kerbs then must stay inside the white line.
