Hi Folks,
Is it possible to swap these out without a full dissmantle? Mine is a little tired so thinking of sourcing a 2nd hand one in better nick. Wont bother if its a full dash out job.
any advice?
thank you

I would imagine any buyer would hammer you down on price if a trophy had either poor sachs history or been replaced by somthing else. Its a bit like these old cambelts/aux belts. These little clio can be bought very cheap .. but aint cheap to keep right. Especially trophys. Which is why I...
Cheers just wnated to treble check its not some stupid aftermarket alarm/immobiliser or other. I am alawys happy to work on cars...just hate having to pull dashboards apart.
so cup wishbones are different to non cup but work with standard hubs/driveshafts ok? saw that you can buy wishbones with new bushes/ball joints for around £60. that might go on my to do list
Randomly had my first passenger today who actually used the sunvisor. Never moved it since buying the car .. and we found this.
Any ideas.. I am assuming its aftermarket. any harm in cutting it out?

Cheers. keep seeing nearly all the bits kicking about and thought one day may go for it. May "cup" the car first when I do a front end refresh. Then see about them sachs ;)
Yes it madness.. just buy a trophy.
However if you did want to do it. What actually needs to be swap?
Mine is a non cup 182.
sachs front and rear..obviously
eibach springs all round?
drive shafts longer? (same as cup?)
are trophy hubs same as cup hubs?
wishbones? (are the trophy/cup ones...
Hi folks, About to do mine on the drive..lol
idiot question. is anything other than the t-bolt clamps needed to hold the slotted sections so they seal? or do you need a dab of silicon on these aswell? I know the cat to centre needs it.
Cheers
Chris
Just though I would add to the admiral merry go round. I actually increased the value of my car on the quote and it lowered the premium. The guy on the end of the phone was at pains to state that obviously actual cost paid out would reflect market value. I said "exactely" hence the "insured"...
Hi folks,
Cleaned up the throttle body today on the 182. When I was removing what I think is the TPS clip, it just pulled off. It wasnt loose but didnt require any screwdriver. Is this correct? or is somthing broken?
The plug and plastic surround didnt look broken. Nor does the socket on...
Hi Folks,
New to me 182 and getting a few bits done. Birchdown are going to fit some goodridge hoses as part of the overhaul. Just wondering if anyone knows what these are called and if any stainless versions are availible off the shelf? Mine look a little tatty and i 'm sure i can get some...
Hello,
what do folk use? I don't want to spray it. Years ago I rem using something called back to black. Anything better out there? Is it best to remove the grill from the car/bumper. The back to black overspray used to leave awful marks.
thank you chris
Afternoon All,
Could anyone advise. Just got my 182. I wanted to check the state of the cabin filter so went to remove the trim above the filter box. It was proving tricky and I found that the windcreen had a bit of sealant that was sticking the glass to the trim for about 4 inches on the...
Cheers Folks,

Good Morning All,
Just bought my first car......and i'm 35 lol.
Due to driving Mums and a company car, I just never got round to actually owning one. Always dreamed about a Willams when I was a youth, Tried for a trophy, however have settled on a clean 182, as Williams/trophys are crazy...
