TPS Plug on throttle body doesnt clip?

Hi folks,
Cleaned up the throttle body today on the 182. When I was removing what I think is the TPS clip, it just pulled off. It wasnt loose but didnt require any screwdriver. Is this correct? or is somthing broken?

The plug and plastic surround didnt look broken. Nor does the socket on the throttle body. Any advice/ pics of what the plug should look like?

It's probably been off before, so the little tab on it has broke. Should still be alright, if worried, tie a zip tie around it.
