Rob let me know about what plans are with the supercharger and the kit as and when if that's OK. Appreciate other important things are going on at this moment in time.
Oh my God, just seen this. Personally, arguably one of the best put together Clio on this forum. The main thing is you are all ok and in one piece Rob, just sad to see the Clio how it is. Again after speaking to you at Blyton I was looking forward to the EFI upgrade, I've popped into this thread...
Cheers Mark, was at Snetterton a couple of weeks back and busted out the bridge camera for a few pitlane shots. Attending the Surrey Rolling Road day next Saturday to see what the ol girl is putting out.
Had a right touch with the spoiler, admittedly there's lacquer peel the size of a £2 coin...
Excellent, I know it sounds weird but with the bucket seats and harnesses now in place you'll focus much better on the trackday driving. It makes such a difference being strapped into a seat that holds you firmly in place.
Few bits done, battery relocated to the boot, ditched the restrictive OE airbox and replaced with a R21 Turbo airbox. It has the same base as the Clio V6 box with the 100mm outlet, the difference being the inlet pointing at an angle. Since the install I've bought a phase 1 Clio 172 airbox to...
Nice to meet you at Blyton last weekend, we spoke all things supercharged (I'm the one who owned the 266bhp Petrol Blue SC 182)
As we said you won't go wrong taking it to Chris at EFI Parts, he'll see it right and will definitely give you a lot more than that 230 figure. It will be a...
The ONLY time I noticed it needed a torque pick up was overtaking lorries on single lanes abroad last year, that was it. Other than its performed superbly over the last year, as a car for me I simply cannot fault it in every department. I love the shape, what it offers for the money, the fuel...
I did think about it weeks after buying it, I think with the 90 it gives you another 20-30bhp. That's the only thing it lacks is more torque. To be honest I don't drive it that much, it gives me average 58mpg. If I want torque and fun I'll take the stripped out Megane 225 I also own for a blast
Agreed, the only 2 things that could do with improving in otherwise IMO a faultless and perfect car. I've owned my 14 plate dci 90 almost a year to the day and still love it, driving it, looking at it. A shame it didn't have the dci 130 that my 55 plate Megane dci has.
I'm with SKY insurance and have 3 cars insured with them. The 14 plate Clio is my main policy with all my no claims, my Megane 225 is mirrored off the Clio policy.
My 1.9DCi Megane is on a separate policy through SKY with 2 years no claims on that.
It was nice to see some varieties of makes and models. Like everything there's gonna be cars there not to everyone's taste, it made for a nice afternoon out and a good run out for the Megane.
