I've heard a couple of bad things about tdf from people who don't want to slate them publicly on the forum.
I would prefer Viezu as we know where it is and can compare figures. I personally won't be running as I've done nothing to it since last time.
Worse thing is that Mark (Mr. FCS) is from Scotland (or at least is Scottish through birthright. Surely he would have thought more about the Scottish contingent with regards to location. I just wonder though if people didn't turn up...would they consider a location change for next year?
Iceburg would have a blue tint to it in the light. Also, each colour whilst the same number has several different shades/variations, so someone could have damaged the rear bumper and swapped it for another titanium which was a shade slightly different to the normal colour.
There isn't a roof mounting point...not a 3rd seat on the bench for it to be doable. I spouse anything is possible, but as the read bench isn't split fold, you would struggle to have a 3rd seatbelt for all 3 points.
Tony...we're taking over Scotland here...I am saying that it isn't the best show, but its us lot who make it what it is. Without people you know or can talk to...its a bit s**t. With people you can have the banter with...its excellent
When my alternator died...I'd bought a new battery a couple of days earlier...so it still had a charge. Went to work 8 miles away with no lights, no blowers, no autowipers, no anything. Died on way there... Pissed me right off. Get it done asap as guarantee that when u need it, it will fail
Its the banter with the lads that makes the day IMHO...not FCS itself. There are some freebies, but I wouldn't say it was the best. Much prefer CSS as you can put faces to forum names and see people you've not seen in a while. I didn't go to the last one at Bruntingthorpe but attended the ones...
Yes. Remove the inside door trim, and the there are 2 bolts to be undone. The connecting clip comes away, so make sure you suss out how it goes back in, or it will fall to the inside and then you will have to spend a while sussing out how to connect it between the door locking mechanism and the...
Wrong...its somewhere in Lake District iirc. (I am including Scotland in that though)
The geographic centre of
Britain (including all islands).
It is located just to the east of
Whitendale Hanging Stones in
Lancashire at SD 64188
56541 .
That was why I said it and with Mark being a Scot, I'm sure he wouldn't forget his fellow Scots.
I am lucky as its only an hour or two usually away from where I am. But wouldn't want to do that a9 at silly o'clock in the morning...as went to Kinloss a few years ago.
If its three times...it means you've turned the ultrasonics off. It is normally done by turning key to position 2 then back to 0 then to 2 and to zero again and getting out and locking straight after. It means that the alarm is activated if a door is opened...just not if a window is smashed and...
Your locking nuts...does it fit over the bolt or inside? Is the pattern on the locking nut go to the outside edge of the nut or inside? If the locking bit goes inside, then there shouldnt be an issue.
Bloody hell mate. I am on lookout for new job. Had enough of current employer and want/need out.
In terms of garage...have you tried any local council (or housing trust) garages? They will do what they need and are lockable...and hopefully reasonably local to you. If you need any help...you...
Fred will tell you the standard one is perfectly fine. There is also k&n filters out there too.
All cotton filters will need cleaning every so often (they suggest 50k miles) but its best to keep on top of them IMO.
The Cups Turinis are 16"s also. The centre cap is a different size on the Speedlines (smaller than Renault emblemed ones). Someone has done a bodge to get them in...but I don't think they (speedline) don't do any for their own wheels.
Rob...use heat from welding torch. Mandy had wheel bolt snap in the thread...wouldn't come out until local garage persuaded it out with oxyacetaline torch. Wd40 won't do it very well it if its been stuck in there for ages...takes ages to penetrate.
It is normally a set price for 'standard' colours...anthracite would be classed as a normal colour...unless they think that they can make more money from anthracite...so are charging an extra tenner a wheel...
Door locking solenoid was playing up...so took door card off to get to it. Then tried to take door locking mechanism away to allow me to clean it up and better connecting rod fell out. Unsure how to put it back in and have tried a few ways but fucked if I can figure it out....HELP!!!
Lock now...
