I know its too late now, but for future reference put anti seize on the inside of the caps to help it. The cheap metals tend to seize all too easily in the crap weather.
Sorry for my no show. Mandy has been hit by a HGV on A41 this morning. Her car is written off and she has severe whiplash (muscoskeletal) injury.
I normally turn up, but unfortunately this one is unavoidable and family come first. She is okay and now back at home, just gotta be careful. The...
There were 3 fixed cameras at the beginning of it (Perth side) but they have unmarked cars on there according to signage. I was up there about 7 or 8 years ago
Just after we were there last time, there was an incident with a race prepped Volvo so they would have changed rollers since last time due to failure. I'm sure Matt can confirm with Amie working there.
A9 by any chance? Did that years ago from Perth to Inverness in a Focus...enjoyed it, but kept speeds down as thought that there were more than the 3 fixed cameras that were there!
Most people in IT have had to start somewhere. Good education, no experience or loads of experience and no qualifications. You need to get foot in the door somehow.
Its a few mins for the couple of runs. They have to ensure that the vehicle is strapped down so it doesn't fly off rollers...Don't worry...these are only 2 litre Clios....not some Veyron producing a hell of a lot more power. You will be fine. :)
And then they picked a figure from a hat or something that would sound good...
Also, with this one, you will be pitting your car against similar vehicles, so if there is something drastically wrong with your car the figures will show it.
My car a couple of years ago had a fairly low figure...
If you ask Matt nicely, I'm sure he could put you in early doors. The kick off is around 9-9:30...so if you were one of first on, then you should be done by 11...there will be some people wanting to run early and some wanting to run later...
I think iirc its something like 15% of the braking is through the rears. They are essentially just like the stuff you'd get from a motor factors...good enough to be passable...but don't go expecting them to be best thing since sliced bread. They will be fine in use. :)
The electrics have been replaced, but on the back of the external door handle on drivers side, the metal bar won't sit in place... Its just being a pain...I'm sure it will be clip positioning. All electrics are fine. The metal piece in this picture
Getting old Lee...pmsl
I hope someone with experience of door connectors is coming...as mine won't go in and stay in correctly...so my car is half race prepped (no drivers door card!) If anyone knows how to sort it...feel free. :approve:
The problem is it depends on what you want doing. Go to WWW.pro-speedexhausts.co.UK (or .com...not sure) and contact Charlie telling him what you're after. He will give you a quote and then its down to you to book it in or leave it. Its always best to try yourself as everyone is different and if...
