Re: What have you ordered?
After many recommendations on DW, I've just ordered the Jeffs Werkstat Acrylic Kit. Free delivery too from Polished Bliss which saved me about £8 :)
Gonna get some BH clay n'all in the near future. Most people on DW recommend it. Have you gone for the soft or regular...
If this is the case, then why not save your money so you can buy the ideal products that you actually want/need instead of wasting money on products 'just to put you on'?
EDIT: Comes across as though I'm having a dig at you but I'm not. Just asking :)
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
New bolts look mint, nice to see something different.
I personally wouldn't risk taking the locking nuts out until you have the new ones. Wheels are too nice!
After trialling through DW for a good few hours, I've noticed that most people are suggesting using a sealant on a silver car instead of a wax as a wax tends to dull the paint.
There's much praise for the Werkstat Acrylic Kit for silver cars. Seems easy to use and it's got everything needed...
Car looks spot on as it is. What's it like with speed bumps though? :quiet:
Nice pics as well. My sister's just got the same camera for her first half decent camera. Might have to nick it for an hour and go take some pictures of mine.
Cheers for all the replies lads.
I know a lot of people rate 845 and many people on DW say that Autoglym HD is very underrated, hence me wanting to choose one of the two.
I normally give the car a wash every week so what I'm basically looking for in the wax/sealant is looks, not really...
Hi,
Now the snows all gone I'm fed up with having a dirty car, so gonna purchase some bits and bobs and get cleaning.
I'm gonna get a claykit and some SRP.
Should I get Autoglym HD Wax or Colli 845?
Cheers
Spot on as usual!
When sheeting the water, is there any kind of knack to it? Speed of water etc? Because I've tried doing it before but miserably failed and ended up chasing water around the car with a very wet towel.
Hi,
For the past couple of months, the electrical fault light would come up on my dash and then the car would start to misfire. Finally changed the coilpack around a month ago and that sorted the problem. The car then ran better than ever. Cue another problem!
A couple of weeks after, the snow...
Don't think the single wiper really suits it tbh but other than that, it's looking pretty good. A 172 rear bumper would suit it well.
Is the exhaust supposed to be like that though? :S
Hi,
I've always been under the impression that jet washing the dirt off a car, before hand washing, causes scratches due to the bits of dirt. Is this true?
I don't know why, but I've always thought that this is the case :S
Also, any do's and don'ts for jet washing cars? I want to give my car...
