they were originally for a Williams to the weight might be closer (think it was 30mm drop on the willy, 60mm on the 1.2). i'm almost 90% sure they wouldn't work, but someone in the know might be able to confirm :) I remember when I did put lower/stuffer spring on my car, I realised how slow I...
I can +1 this, mine are still on my 1.2Mk1 - your welcome to them for £30 or so if they are any use on a Mk2? They lowered my mk1 like this:
not sure if they are any use on a Mk2 or not though.
irrelevant. You sign a disclaimer which states that you cant hold anyone responsible or liable for damage to your car regardless of how it happens. TBH with such paperwork in place and signed, I don't see how this got to court at all.
just seen this on my other half's ipad, looks a bit s**t imo. Far too white - kinda looks like the skin hasn't been finished. Seems to run all ok though (ipad2)
hmm ok. You should be able to put it in either mode and press the up/down buttons to set the speed on the dash. it wont activate below 20mph though. But by the sounds of it, your steering wheel controls sound like they aren't hooked up (or have a loose connection as you managed to use the 'R'...
you sure you got the right HU type? there are 2 versions; one works with a Renault proprietary system and the other works on a CAN bus. Both use the yellow plug.
can you adjust the speed using the steering wheel controls? i.e, do the numbers go up/down on the computer display all ok but its just not enabling, or is it completely dead?
I'm looking for some J41 (arctic blue) paint to use with my air compressor + spray gun. Who's the best for colour matching+price? (must be someone on here that supply's it?)
p.s I need enough to spray a front wing, how much paint would that be?
RStuner by fastchip. Does the same as the device posted above but with a laptop/netbook instead of being built in the box. You still have to have the car off etc with devices like the one posted above to switch the maps (its not instant unless you have a ecu with something like a twin rom chip...
the lense/glass. I bought one off ebay before and the view in it wasn't quite right, the aspheric bit didn't work properly. So was just wondering if there was a place that anyone knows of the sells OE ones for cheaper then renualt?
they don't look s**t if you do it right. they look s**t when you put them in the OE parcel shelf without bracing etc. stealth installs + custom fits look fine imo
Also if the OP wants just a bit more bass but for it not to be too loud, try one of those new slim under the seat subs.
I need a wing mirror, drivers side with heater thingy and blindspot view thing (just like the OE one). Besides Renault, anyone know a good place to get one for a reasonable price? Many thanks.
p.s, I looked on ebay, but they seem to be the cheap 'stick on' types that imo are not as good.
Although that's probably true, its viable in this case as the damage is minimal and my excess is £600; I can fix it for £100 to £200. I checked with the insurer, and provided I don't claim for my own car (regardless of the outcome), I wont have to pay anything.
This is incorrect. I called 101 and they asked me a few questions like if anyone was hurt, damage to fixed properties (i.e. lamp posts), or if there was oil/debris on the road. as the answer to all of them was no, then the said the police didn't need to know and didn't even take my details...
