Hi Ed, nice replacement! Glad to see your still in a clio!! Jealous of the yozza! lol. is that a carbon splitter on the front?
I still have a CS-SW rear window sticker here for you that I was going to post up but haven't had the time yet! Your welcome to a set of my custom RS182FF stickers as...
Not sure I can make tomorrow, I think me and the mrs have something planned. I will confirm later if I can come, so if you don't hear from me then assume I'm out.
Life good with you? been a busy month for me, 2 completely stress free weeks on Adventure of the seas, then 2 weeks intense catchup...
why are you getting pissed off? I was only expressing my opinion. :S its a good picture, I just don't think its 'juxtaposition'. Everyone else's picture has the 'juxta effect' where something looks out of place/wrong with the scene. I just think yours looks like a normal farther/daughter photo...
lol ok. I think your supposed to have something a bit more than age, i.e. age difference of the same thing, or 2 different things with different ages doing the exactly the same thing. otherwise its just a child/farther on a step photo... that's just my opinion though :)
If you do want to come down via train, I can pick you up at Tiverton parkway :)
Provided its not on any of my family's birthdays, I will be attending for sure :) was brilliant last time and I always like to do a bit of karting. I will do better this time with a bit more grip I think! :p
dropped valves is a known problem on f4r engines, its happend to a few on here for no reasons at all (ie someone was on cruisecontrol on themotorway and it happend)!
Do a compresion test first just to make sure. It would have made a fairly loud bang if the valves hit the piston... it could be that the belt came off a while ago but now the battery is flat so engine cut out. (Not sure if you used jump leads when you tried to start it)
that would make sense then, a misfire wouldn't occur if a connection was broken fully for the given period; the engine would just die completely until the connection is remade, and then it will work as nothing ever happened. provided the engine rev's stay above 500/600 rpm, the engine would...
tbh it sound like you have an intermittent connection or short that is bought on when the engine is accelerating (and thus probably being tilted backwards)?
If its blowing air out of the inlet, then the timing is probably wrong, as it would mean the piston is compressing when the inlet is being opened. check the timing next if I were you.
