Of course it a different fault.
But in terms of safety and the severity of the fault regarding potential injury etc brakes failing is up there.
I’m not saying the engine problem is fine and shouldn’t be so in the lime light, it should! it will be sorted quicker lol.
But the difference in...
You say that but BMW have not long released a safety recall on M4 and M3 disks because they keep cracking and it’s quite common too!
But it’s not as in your face as this issue with the RS.
I think it’s because of the different types of owner as well tbh.
The RS has a younger crowd as it’s...
It is, and ford cannot just dismiss the issue which is good.
But compared to other high price cars this issue isn’t as common as others it’s just at the forefront of the media/ social media because the car is so good when it’s working lol
There’s a list of over 100 in Europe circulating with more being added each day.
In the grand scheme of things not a huge percentage but obviously not everyone has contributed to the list.
Lad that comes out with me has the block mode because his broke down and lost power, same a few others.
It’s irrelevant about modifying because the block still failed anyway.
Oh and I know this is an issue for the MK3 but there is a little history with ford performance engine problems in general.
The mk2 ST and RS engines that needed block mods due to cracked liners/ blocks, they didn’t fail as such but they did loose a lot of power because of it.
Also the Mk2 RS...
No REV1 will mean it’s the first revision, which would be filled out by the engineer not filtered by an administrator afterwards.
Nice, I might make a “my engine hasn’t gone” video to see what happens then, people focus on negatives imo lol
Yep I am lining up oulton Park after the new year.
No I couldn’t spend 50k on a hot hatch, the RS3 and A45 are too expensive for what they are.
If I was gonna spend big money I would be looking at the C63 AMG Estate/ RS4 avant if I need practicality still, or an M4 with the competition pack if I don’t.

For the perfect car would be the Mk3 RS handling and characteristics with the 5 pot sound of the old RS, but it doesn’t meet emissions criteria for new cars.
Lol ask for the engineering failure analysis report from it, make sure it’s REV1 as well.
Your well within your rights ask for it too.
Bet it will take 2 weeks from point of removal to produce but that will the real reason for failure.
How many YouTube subscribers do you have at them moment?
What have you got out of ford mark?
A few other lads have got £500 back plus extended warranty and one or two have had some other things thrown in such as free service plan etc with it.
In terms of the engineering part, if it’s made to change shape and distort etc then in theory a head...
So what's best to do then for protection of an everyday car?
PPF and then normal wax on other areas?
Also I have this place on my doorstep.

Anyone have any reviews on them?
So I have just purchased a new car and a lot of people are saying about ceramic coatings to protect the paintwork, wheels and glass.
Would anyone recommend this method for protection?
Also if they do recommend this service is there anyone in the Wrexham area that carries out this service...
Yes I know they are much better than older turbos, but I see multiple issues with turbine/ rotating items failing due to incorrect cooling cycles on shut down, the whole thing of passing oil through a turbo isn't just about lubrication.
At the end of the day though it probably won't cause a...
I don't mind stop start but, I also see why people don't.
If there was a pre lube pump etc to flow oil round the turbo when its off etc I wouldn't have any problem at all.
But turbos don't like running hard then stopping with no oil being pumped round etc etc.
It is a good thing to have...
Sold my arctic blue 182 December last year to a garage in Cornwall
It was FY54 ZFM
It says it last had tax when I sold but It hasn't been renewed.
It has had another MOT in June though but that seems weird if it's off the road with no tax lol
I checked this and others have increased RAM very easily,
Simply plug and play from what I have seen, I did think about that as 8GB is within the limits of CAD/CAM but more intensive software maybe used in the future and it may need to be increased for it.
got a HP machine in the end.

i7 and it seems to do the job well enough as well as being tidy looking
That looks like a good shout.
My work place currently use Lenovo laptops instead of having towers in the work place.
Tbh I think the higher price systems would be a bit OTT
I would like to use it as a normal system for home etc would be nice too.
I have a £1000 budget, I have been looking...
Currently looking for a new laptop.
I do a lot of photography editing which was fine on my older laptop as that was the only thing I did on it.
But I'm now undertaking an engineering degree so will be using CAD/CAM as well as producing engineering projects for my work place.
Can anyone...
