Leave it fully inserted for 5-10 seconds once you've finished for the drips to drip through...I honestly can't say I've had a problem with that at all.
It's based on the lower body-coloured bumper-trim looking out of place. I've always thought it would have looked better painted or left black.
Glad you're liking it Matthew. Your comments have saved me the bother of writing a one-year 18,000 mile write-up as I could/would have written what you...
Numbered?
Its days finished a year ago didn't it when Renault released the 200T GT model for over £20k (that mistakenly had an R.S. badge fitted to the front grille)?
Re: 1M Akrapovic
Not a waste as such, more a missed opportunity to experience those moments of joy an awful lot more. Regardless, you're in a nice position to have such a motor for pleasure only!
Re: 1M Akrapovic
I've no idea how you can do so few miles! Surely that defeats the object of owning something so special? I'd do 100 miles at a minimum every single time I pressed the start button (assuming it has one?)!

The one I got actually came with a 9m hose despite what the box says.
So if anyone's...
Oooh, not the best start to brand new BMW ownership Dave! At least they're responsive.
With a few more miles under your belt how are you finding the gearbox now?
Just like the rev counter I think it's whatever they have in the bin at the time. I'd imagine they substituted the Zetec ones when the spotty ones were on backorder
You're not alone. I've had months pass since I was last out on track and I still feel and think exactly the same.
Seeing as it's been really warm the last few days at every chance I've given it a proper bootfull out of low speed turns to try and get it to wash wide or at least get out a shape a...
LOL at 8:16 to 8:25. Even after almost a year in mine I still get that exact same feeling regularly...shaking of the head in disbelief!
I noticed in your pics Matthew that they're now sticking Zetec S pedals on for new builds...mine are covered in rubber polka-dots! I'd much prefer a plain...
