@imprezaworks I was replying in here anyway so no need to PM now. My KTR top mounts are provisionally sold bud. I like the look of them in the bay and it feels better when your turning at a fast pace, but over bumps it can be a little harsh. I have cooksports anyway which are a little stiff...
Can someone clarify the way it goes. I'm taking off my K-tec ones and putting standard ones back on.
Pretty sure it's shock, then bearing, bottom cup, then sleeve, flat washer, shock nut, through turret and then top cup.
Also what torque setting on the top nut. It's been a while since I...
@JoePeps The video posted above was from TOTB (unsure what year though)
He pops over regularly so I'll get some more pics as and when. Also has Silvia S15's too.
Ah I see. Hopefully you'll. Fond.your answer soon. I'm sure someone is breaking a car with one in.
Id put up a wanted add, they normally go very cheap, sometimes free.
I can't help your answer, but I do have one that you can have for free if you want. Nothing lost nothing gained.
Downfall is, it's collection only unless you want to cover postage costs. I have no idea what that would be.
He told me 1300bhp inc the nitrous. I thought he said 1000bhp then 300bhp nitrous but the video says 1100bhp so I'm not sure what it is now! It's definitely 1300bhp total though.
He has 11 customer cars atm and none are under 500bhp!
I'll see if i can find the vid of the R33 going up the 1/4 mile. Its very fast.
He came down in it today. It sounds like the world is ending and when he puts he foot down, its unreal!!
Opposite where I work, there's a chap that owns a Skyline tuning company. He has a lock up on our farm with some cars stored there and sometimes we have some of he's customers turn up, so i thought I'd take a few pics.
This one has a RB30 in it
This thing is mental...
Yep it's as easy as that! Use the 2 larger C-spanners to adjust the height. Anticlockwise to raise it.
It did that on mine but I never got round to altering it again as it looked good :O
Shocks need raising bud if there doing that.
Good thing is, you can adjust the height with compromising the rebound on the springs. Cool design really.
However you may want to wind the springs up a tad to make it a bit stiffer.
Thanks for the tag guys. Nice to know that you think mine is good enough, even though I'd like to do a lot more to it
Unfortunately I'm not available that weekend, due to work commitments.
